Meet Our Teachers

Jennifer Morin (Owner/Dance Instructor/Artistic Director) received the majority of her dance training at Kerry’s Dance Center.  Jennie was a staff instructor at the Studio of Dance Movement Arts, and The Studio of Dance Education both in Exeter.  She has competed throughout New England with the senior dance company from Steppin’ Out Dance Academy.  She has also studied Classical Ballet under the direction of Jim Franklin, and Modern Dance with Amanda Schiller of “Center Stage” fame.  Jennie continues her dance education through seminars and workshops throughout New England.  The most recent workshops were at the Portsmouth Percussive Dance Festival where she danced with tap legend Brenda Buffalino, studied Middle Eastern Dance with Sharon Arslanian, and African Dance with Sekou & Marilyn Sylla.  In July of 2006 she traveled with her dancers to the Plymouth State University Summer Dance Intensive where they performed choreography by PSU Dance Director Joan Weigers.  Jennie has even studied Hip Hop with Jimmy Locust, one of the hottest choreographers in the business.  She most recently choreographed for the Island Pond Baptist Players “The Christmas Shoes” and “The Christmas Post”.  Jennie helped to re-establish competitive dance teams at Kerry’s Dance Center and has traveled throughout New England where her dancers have performed her award winning choreography. KDC is pleased to have her back for her twenty-sixth year as a teacher and first year as our new Artistic Director!
