Kerry Bacheller
Artistic Director & Choreographer
Kerry is an honors graduate of Rivier College and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Law. She is a graduate of the Barbizon Modeling Agency. She has been dancing since the age of three. She received the majority of her dance training at the Alice Hanley Dance Academy and was a staff instructor there for seven years. She is a certified member of the National Association Of Dance And Affiliated Artists (NADAA), Dance Masters Of America (DMA), and New Hampshire Dance Alliance (NHDA). She has taken courses in Dance at the University Of Lowell, Massachusetts.
She has studied the Graham and Limon Techniques of Modern Dance under the direction of Pierre Barreau, formerly of the Joffrey Ballet, Classical Ballet under the direction of Jim Franklin, and tap under the direction of Drika Overton, creator of “Clara’s Dream – a Jazz Nutcracker” and the Portsmouth Percussive Dance Festival. Kerry periodically attends teacher’s classes at the Jeanette Neill Studio in Boston, as well as statewide seminars for continuing dance education.
She has choreographed for productions of “The Wizard Of Oz”, “Bugsy Malone”, “Annie” and “Guys and Dolls, Jr”. She has been the Director and Choreographer of her own dance studio in Chester, New Hampshire since September of 1988, and has been a teacher of dance for over twenty-five years.
