Hi Dancers!

I hope you all had a safe and FUN Memorial Day weekend. This is the last notice of the season. I can't believe how fast it went! Please try to attend the last few lessons as we prepare for the shows. The last day of dance isFriday June 11th.

Rehearsal for Show #1 is Tues June 15th, and for Show #2 is Wed June 16th. Both are dress rehearsals and are at Pinkerton. You should all have received the time schedule so you know when to arrive. Let me know if you did not get a copy. Recitals are noon and 4:30 pm on Sat June 19th. Please remember that there is a SLIGHT chance that each show will start 2 hours later if Pinkerton's Graduation is bumped from Friday to Saturday due to rain. An e-mail will be sent to all. Pray for good weather on the 18th so we can continue as planned on the 19th!

Orders for DVDs of the recitals are being accepted from now until the day of the show. Forms are available in the waiting rooms of each studio. Checks are payable to Video Talent and I will be sure Mike received your orders so you don't have to mail them.

Summer Dance Camp runs Monday through Friday July 26th through 30th 9:00 am to noon. The week is $100 for the 1st child and $75 for the 2nd. The week will include dancing, acro, crafts, baking, snacks, swimming & lots of fun.

Congratulations to our Dancers Of The Month. They are Emma Antkowiak, Dylan Berman, & Emma Hodgkins. Keep up the good work.

All dance team members are asked to please donate an item to the concession stand at recitals as the sale of all items will benefit your team. Water & homemade goodies (individually wrapped) are the most popular. Any donation will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you so much to all the parents who have already volunteered to help at recitals. I couldn't do it without you. I am still looking for a few ushers for Show #2 and 1 more "audience chaperone" for each show. Please let me know if you would like to help. You get a free ticket! Thanks!

Wisteria Flower Shoppe will be selling flowers at recital in the lobby during each show.

Recital tickets are on sale (and will be available at the door). Adults are $15, children 12 and under are $9. Just fill out a ticket request and leave it with your dance teacher. We will send the tickets home with your child.

"Dance Like Nobody's Watching" T-shirts are on sale with artwork done by our own Miss Lena. Adult sizes are $13 Child sizes are $9. They make great recital gifts for your dancers. Hint, hint!

Many students have submitted assistant applications. I will call all of you 1 way or the other in August when most of the registrations are back and I can determine where I need the most help. Please keep in mind that not all of you will be used due to availabilty and age. It has occasionally been necessary to leave the class with the assistant and I am comfortable doing this only with the older girls. I am sure you understand.
